Fodor's Review

Here's a reliable member of the Best Western chain, perhaps not what you came to Costa Rica to see, but we recommend this place as a decent backup. Like most hotels within the franchise, this one has sterile, generic rooms and almost every type of service and facility under the sun. Two large buildings face each other, with the noisy pool and lawn area in between. None of the rooms has a direct ocean view, though corner rooms 314, 414, and 415 look out to quiet gardens.

Rooms in one building have private balconies. Daily activities (posted in the open-air reception) and an all-inclusive package can easily trap you here for days. The beach area has a lifeguard, plenty of chairs, and a bar nearby.
