Fodor's Review

A short walk through the woods from the beach, this tranquil hotel shaded by tall trees is one of the area's best options for budget travelers. Most rooms are in a concrete building with a wide porch; they are simple but spacious, with small bathrooms and lots of windows. The tiny, lower-price rooms that share a separate, cold-water bathhouse are marketed to backpackers. Also available are a separate cabin with a refrigerator, and an open-room, fully equipped casita

(small house) for four. A small restaurant serves breakfast and light lunches. Bathrooms do not have hot water.
