Restaurante Mar Luna
Restaurante Mar Luna Review
Easy to overlook, this simple blue wooden restaurant propped on the hillside is often packed. The decor is limited to illuminated plastic fish, ceramic mobiles, potted palms, and colorful tablecloths, but the restaurant has a pleasant view of treetops and the sea below. The fresh seafood, caught each morning by one of the cooks, is what draws the crowd. You might start with sashimi or seafood soup, and move on to one of the popular entrées: grilled tuna with peppers and onions, lobster in a brandy sauce, the humongous mariscada—a sautéed seafood platter for two—or one of the surf-and-turf options. They have live Latin music Thursday to Saturday, and a small bamboo bar in front.

We enjoyed our seafood platter for 2, it was way more food than we could eat, but the service was so painfully slow and it seemed a bit expensive for what you actually got in the end. We would return though, as the waiters were very friendly and we did enjoy our food!
