You won't see any anacondas (they are found in South America), though a humongous skin is mounted on the wall behind the bar, and you may spot iguanas, squirrel monkeys, or various species of birds from one of this open-air restaurant's oversize chairs. You are sure to enjoy the view of the coast. The eclectic menu ranges from Japanese-style tuna to Tuscan mahi mahi. They also serve excellent pastas and salads. The restaurant is a short drive from the beach, making it an excellent option for a quiet lunch.

The view here is undeniable - by day it is full of ocean and rainforest, by night the atmosphere is candlelit and quiet. The prices are a bit high, but you pay for the view and also the convenience if you are a guest at the Costa Verde hotel (which has 3 restaurants). Breakfast is decent Tico or American fare and available starting at 6 am. As for dinner, the Mediterranean veggie platter was great for two people, three pepper tuna steak was delicious
and the margaritas were a sweet end to a hot day. FYI they will make box lunches for you if you are headed to the beach or the park for the day. This includes a sandwich (big enough for 2), a banana, and a bottle of water.
