In exchange for being 250 feet away from the beach, you get spacious, well-equipped rooms with views of the pool and gardens rather than surf and sand. Lots of foliage and a large, blue-tile pool add a tropical feel to the grounds. In addition to main hotel rooms are multibed units well suited to families; those on the second floor have ocean views and lofts with two twin beds, while those on the first floor are slightly cooler and open onto the pool. If you tire of the surf, there are communal computers, books, foosball, and billiards to keep you entertained. The restaurant has an extensive menu that includes sea bass served with various sauces, pastas, pork loin, filet mignon, and jumbo shrimp.
