Getting Here and Around

Roads to the reserve are usually passable only in the dry season, unless you have a 4WD. From Montezuma or Malpaís, take the road to Cabuya. Taxis can take you to or from Montezuma for $15 one way—that's always the easiest option—but buses toward the park also leave from Montezuma daily at 8 am, 9:50 am, and 2 pm, returning at 9 am, 1 pm, and 4 pm.
