Bread & Chocolate
Bread & Chocolate Review
The takeaway line for brownies forms at the gate before this place opens at 6:30 am, but stick around and fortify yourself with a hearty breakfast of cinnamon-oatmeal pancakes, French toast, or creamy scrambled eggs, washed down with a cup of French-press coffee. Lunch brings jerk chicken, roasted red peppers, and chocolate truffles. Everything is homemade, right down to the mayonnaise. Make your dinner early; the place closes at 6:30 pm. This is one of several bakery-slash-breakfast-and-lunch cafés open in town; the friendly owner gives this place the edge.
