You're right in town but you'd never know it at this friendly lodging, which has cabins propped up on stilts, with hardwood floors, hot-water baths, log tables, mosquito nets, and a hammock on the front porch. Make use of the shared kitchen facilities and outdoor barbecue. The forested grounds and high thatch roof keep the temperature pleasantly bearable in otherwise balmy Cahuita. It's next to the park, so the howler monkeys are your morning alarm clock.

I was a little skeptical as I walked down the road to Alby Lodge but I was amazed to find beautiful grounds and charming thatched cabins! The place is like a park with four well built and attractive cabins and a great shared (and fully equipped) kitchen. Well done Alby Lodge!!
