La Pecora Nera Review

Though the name means "black sheep" in Italian, there's nothing shameful about this thatch-roof roadside restaurant. There's always a lot more to choose from than you'll see on the sparse-looking menu. Wait for owner/chef Ilario Giannoni to come out of the kitchen and triumphantly announce—with flair worthy of an Italian opera—which additional light Tuscan entrées, appetizers, and desserts they've concocted that day. Be prepared for a long, leisurely dining experience with attentive service. It's worth the wait; this is one of the country's top Italian restaurants.

    La Pecora Nera Review

Great food and a great experience. As I usually do, I let Ilario, owner/chef, ilario tell me some suggestions and then relax and enjoy best Ialian food outside of Italy.
Our time in the Caribe Sur is not complete till we dine with Ilario at La Pecora Nera

    just like Italy

It is like sitting in Italy but you are in Costa Rica. The food is so good and the owner so personable.
