This place brings a dash of casual sophistication to laid-back Placencia Village. The emphasis is on casual. Jackets and evening dresses are best left at home. Partake among one of the Southern Coast’s best selection of wines, accompanied by a cheese or charcuterie board.

Known for friendly service, Tipsy Tuna is Placencia's largest open-air beach bar. There's live music some weekend nights, and you can always shoot pool or watch sports on a big-screen TV. You’ll need to make it an early night here since the place closes at 8 every evening. While they’re open, though, you can count on cold beers, tasty margaritas, and lots of shrimp ceviche and chicken wings. A few evenings give way to live music.
