De Tatch Café Review

This open-air bar and restaurant near the sea with a "tatch" (thatch) roof long has been one of the most popular hangouts in the village. Try the huge shrimp burrito and wash it down with a few cold Belikins. If you go fishing and catch something, the restaurant will prepare it for you. Breakfasts are good here, too.

    Unpleasant Changes

My friends and I stayed a near-by hotel for 4 days and tried eating at this restaurant on a number of occasions. Service was very poor. Current waitresses are simply rude. We would take time looking through the menu just to be told that our selections were not available. Dishes were mostly flavorless. We spoke to some locals about our misfortune and were told that others had similar experience. It seems that this season the restaurant has a new chef and staff. Very unfortunate.
