Refugees from Alaska's harsh winters purchased this small beachfront inn, originally opened in 1998, and have spruced up the two octagonal cottages. Each cottage has two rooms, with vaulted ceilings and rattan furniture, just steps from a nice beach. A fifth unit has been added in the back. From mid-April through October, the restaurant is closed, and the hotel operates with minimal staff, but room rates drop to a bargain BZ$120. Pros : Kick-off-your-shoes atmosphere, steps from the sea, good restaurant. Con: In summer, hotel goes barebones and restaurant closes.
