Kanantik Reef & Jungle Resort Review
At this all-inclusive luxury resort, you can experience the Barrier Reef without having to make decisions more complicated than whether to have fish or steak for dinner. You can frolic on a palm-lined private beach and snorkel, sail, or kayak at your leisure. Kanantik—a Mopan Mayan word meaning "to take care"—has air-conditioned cabañas tucked onto 300 acres in a remote area south of Hopkins. Echoing African themes, the large and luxuriously outfitted cabañas are striking round structures with conical roofs. Nearly everything except motorized fishing and imported liquors is included in the all-inclusive daily rate of BZ$1,600 for two, although a bed-and-breakfast rate of BZ$684 double is also available.
