Tranquility Lodge Review

Owners Sheila and Rusty Nale, who for many years ran a popular condotel on Ambergris Caye, have upgraded the rooms at this small lodge and added two thatched casitas. Indeed, it's in a tranquil setting in Jacintoville, about 9 mi (15 km) north of PG. All four rooms have air-conditioning, flatscreen TVs, Wi-Fi, and even iPod docks. Thatch casitas have ceiling fans only. Meals (guests only) are served in a thatched dining room on the second floor, above the guest rooms. More than 200 species of birds can be seen on the lodge's 20 acres. A short walk takes you to Jacinto Creek, where there's excellent swimming in a natural swimming hole.
