Yim Saan Review
The 25 rooms of this Chinese-owned hotel and restaurant near the entrance to Belmopan's Ring Road may make you think you're in an interstate motel in Alabama rather than in Belize's capital, but they're sparkling clean, with tile baths, air-conditioning, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and in-room phones. The newer superior rooms with two king beds are BZ$170 plus 9% tax, and the smaller original rooms are BZ$110 plus tax. The restaurant on the first floor, among the fanciest in town (which says a lot about Belmopan), serves tasty and inexpensive, if uninspired, Chinese food, mostly Cantonese style.
