More of a mom 'n' pop motel than an inn, with retro-style furnishings reminiscent of the 1960s, the Bull Frog caters mainly to government workers and Belizeans on business in Belmopan. Your bed may sag a bit and the TV picture may roll, but it's all part of the Belmopan experience. The open-air restaurant, serving Belizean comfort food like pork chops and escabeche (onion soup with chicken), is a popular choice in the capital; the bar usually has live music on Friday.
