Hode's Place Bar & Grill
Hode's Place Bar & Grill Review
With a large shaded patio next to a citrus grove and swings, slides, and an ice-cream bar (cones BZ$2) for the kids in the back, Hode's is even bigger than it looks from the outside. It's popular for cold beers, karaoke, and billiards and is often the busiest place in town. There's even a mini-casino. Hode's has good food in large portions at moderate prices. The escabeche (BZ$12) is terrific, and the fried chicken with french fries (BZ$10) is the best in Cayo. Entree prices range from BZ$5 for a beef burger and BZ$6 for a chicken burrito or small plate of stew chicken with rice and beans to BZ$26 for a sirloin steak.
