What's a Sri Lankan restaurant doing here? The original Ceylonese owner came to Belize with the British Army, and like many other squadies (enlisted men), decided to stay on and open a business. Over the years, the menu here has migrated more to Belizean, Chinese, and American dishes than Sri Lankan, and the founder has sold the property to new management, but you can still get authentic curries. The restaurant is a comfortable, cool escape from the crowds on the street outside.
