The Caye Caulker chapter of the Belize Tourism Industry Association has an office, staffed irregularly, at the Caye Caulker Mini-Reserve at the south end of the island. The official San Pedro Visitor Information Center, next to the Town Hall, is open 10-1 and 2-7, Monday through Saturday. Avoid other information booths, as they are likely fronts for time-shares.

The best source of information on the islands is online. Operated by Marty Casado, AmbergrisCaye.com (www.ambergriscaye.com) has more than 8,000 pages of facts and figures on San Pedro. Caye Caulker's official Belize Tourist Industry Association (BTIA) Web site is www.gocayecaulker.com. The Toucan Trail Web site (www.toucantrail.com) is another excellent source of information, especially for those looking for information on the less-expensive end of the spectrum, as is the Web site of the Caye Caulker village council (www.cayecaulkerbelize.net). The San Pedro Sun newspaper publishes a free weekly tabloid-size visitor newspaper, The San Pedro Sun Visitor Guide.
