Sailing
A few small sailboats offer sailing and snorkeling trips to nearby areas. One company, Raggamuffin Tours, also offers multiday combination sailing and camping trips to Lighthouse Atoll and to Placencia.
Charters, Lessons, and Equipment
Stuart Trent. If you want to learn to sail, Stuart Trent gives sailing lessons and also rents small sailboats, providing sailing lessons with the rentals if needed. Hobie Cats go for BZ$150 for a half-day. Front St., near Sandbox restaurant, Caye Caulker. 631/9134.
Raggamuffin Tours. Raggamuffin Tours has day sails and sunset and moonlight sails for BZ$60-BZ$100. A full-day trip by motorboat to Turneffe with snorkeling is BZ$150. Two-night/three-day camping and sailing trips to Placencia, with nights at Tobacco Caye and Ranguana Caye, are BZ$700 per person one-way.
