"Barnacle Bill" Taylor, known as the wit of Maya Beach, and wife Adriane rent a pair of wooden Mennonite bungalows set among palm trees about 60 feet from the surf. Each cottage is on stilts and has a private bath and a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. Bill and Adriane can arrange to stock your fridge and pantry in advance, if you like. There are complimentary bikes and kayaks. All in all, this is a laid-back and delightful little place.
