This friendly, family-run eatery is at the edge of town near the northern end of the Orange Walk bypass. The dining room has a rustic charm, with displays of antiques and old photographs. It's a great place to stop for lunch or dinner (open daily) on a trip between Belize City and Corozal Town. Enjoy local dishes such as cow-foot soup, escabeche, relleno negro, and, of course, rice and beans. A house speciality is shrimp with garlic and spices.
