Corozal Cultural Center
Corozal Cultural Center Review
A landmark 1886 former lighthouse houses the Corozal Cultural Center, along with a museum and the Belize Tourist Industry Association information center. As of this writing the Center is closed, but efforts are underway to get it open again. If it reopens, you can see the spiral staircase and parts of the original beacon. Also on display are handblown rum bottles and a traditional Mayan thatch hut.
