Most midlevel and upscale hotels in Belize City, and some budget spots, have Internet access, either wireless as at D'Nest Inn and the Great House, or in an Internet room as at the Radisson Fort George and Hotel Mopan. Cybercafés are now common in Belize City, as elsewhere in Belize. The problem is that these lightly capitalized businesses frequently are here today and gone tomorrow. Mail Boxes Etc. has good DSL connections, as does Angelus Press. Click & Sip is inside the Tourism Village. Your best bet is just to scout the area where you're staying for an open Internet café. Rates vary, but typically you'll pay around BZ$5 for a half hour, BZ$8-BZ$10 for an hour. The main post office, on Front Street near the Swing Bridge, is open weekdays 8-5. To ship packages, Mail Boxes Etc. can box and wrap packages and deliver them to the post office. Mail service from Belize City to the United States and other countries is generally fast and reliable (airmail to the United States usually takes about five days). For faster, though expensive, service use DHL and FedEx; both have offices in Belize City.
