Fodor's Review:

If you're edgy about downtown Belize City, this B&B in the northern suburbs might be your cup of herbal tea. You'll stay in the quiet Buttonwood Bay residential area only a block from the sea. Its rooms are bright, sunny, and stylish, with hints of both Europe and Belize in their decor. An evening shuttle to downtown restaurants can be arranged for BZ$10; airport pick-up for up to three people is BZ$40, slightly cheaper than a regular taxi. Pros: Cheerful B&B in safe area, airport pick-up. Cons: Only a few restaurants nearby.
