Manatee Lookout

Fodor's Review:

Run by a Belizean who returned home after living in Canada, Manatee Lookout, a short cab ride (around BZ$8) from the airport, is a place to grab a beer and chicken wings if your flight is delayed. The bar has big windows and an open-air deck overlooking the Belize River, and you might in fact see a manatee. British commandos from the nearby army base at Price Barracks in Ladyville sometimes invade this bar in force, scouting rum and cokes.
