Mexico City chef Oscar Galván successfully concocts dishes that take advantage of the country's unique and flavorful ingredients, such as fresh vanilla, avocados, plantains, and a host of smoky and fresh chilies. Try one of the Veracruz-style seafood recipes or the five-course menu (soup, salad, appetizer, main course, and dessert), perhaps paired with one or more of the many fine tequilas from the expansive bar. There's tequila ice cream for dessert. Service can be disjointed, the space itself is plain, and tables are small. Come for the tasty and unusual dishes.
