Yearn for manta ray stew? Crave fresh tuna balls? Simply must have shark soup? The recipes here are geared to the local palate; if you're an adventurous eater with a hankering for fresh, strangely prepared (a lot of things are minced beyond recognition) seafood dishes, give Columba a try. It's on the road to the fishermen's beach in Cruz de Huanacaxtle. As a backup plan, have an appetizer here, then head for one of the other picks in Bucerías. This restaurant closes at 7 PM, and serves only beer and sodas as beverages. It has the least expensive lobster around.
