Jackie Kilpatrick, who owns Talavera Etc., is happy to share her knowledge of Talavera pottery. She sells the exclusive Uriarte line, the oldest maker of Talavera in Mexico (est. 1805), as well as reproductions of tiles from Puebla churches and small gift items. Look in the book to choose made-to-order pieces. The shop is closed Sunday, during lunch, and for two weeks in September.
