Fodor's Review:
Ask for a room on the beach side of the street -- those on the other side have no view. In exchange for pressed-wood and faux-bamboo furniture and a tepid-tempered staff, you get an inexpensive lodging overlooking the pier at Playa Los Muertos, and proximity to Old Vallarta. A standard suite for two has a kitchen (with plastic plates, and just the basic, beat-up pots) on a balcony hanging just above the sand. Less than 10 bucks more gets you a junior suite, where the sitting room between the bedroom and outdoor kitchen has two (stiff) couches. The pool and hot tub are down the street.
