Fodor's Review:
Apaches is gay friendly, lesbian friendly, people friendly. Heck, superwomen Mariann and her partner Endra would probably welcome you and your pet python with open arms, give you both a squeeze. PV's original martini bar, Apaches is the landing zone for expats reconnoitering after a long day, and a warm-up for late-night types. When the outside tables get jam packed in high season, the overflow heads into the narrow bar and the adjacent, equally narrow bistro. It opens after 5 PM; happy hour is 5 to 7. If you're alone, this is the place to make friends of all ages.
