Fodor's Review:
A block from the beach, in an area with lots of good restaurants, Palmeras has small rooms with brightly painted interior walls and modeled-stucco sunflowers serving as a kind of headboard behind the bed. Rooms on the second floor have a partial ocean view. There's plenty of space to socialize around the pool, basketball court, outdoor grill, and grassy picnic area, and a TV with satellite in the lounge for essential programs in English. The more expensive rooms are larger, newer, and have a sitting room and cable TV.
