$$$, Mismaloya
Fodor's Review:
The beautiful aqua-tone cove the hotel overlooks is the property's best asset. Check-in is handled right in your room, with its white-tile floors and citrus-color fabrics. You'll be asked to choose from among four experiences (Joy of Life, Renewal, Romance, and Peace of Mind) that involve changing the scents, music, stones, flowers, and certain amenities in your room to set the desired tone. Will your choice dictate complimentary red wine or premium tequila? Casablanca lilies or red roses? This marketing gimmick doesn't dramatically enhance the hotel experience, though pillow menus are a nice touch. The long-heralded spa is tiny and has few treatments.
