Coronado Island

Fodor's Review:

You can arrange picnic trips to Coronado Island, inhabited only by sea lions, in Loreto, Nopoló, or Puerto Escondido. The snorkeling and scuba diving near the island are excellent. Danzante and other islands off Loreto are part of the Parque Maritímo Nacional Bahía de Loreto. Commercial fishing boats aren't allowed within the 60-square-km (23-square-mi) park.
