A special treat of our yearly visit to Cabo is the trip north to the Cafe Santa Fe. We particularly enjoy there garden atmosphere and the quality of the cuisine. We have taken three different groups of guests with us and all have enjoyed it as much as we have through the years. A MUST Visit if you enjoy Italian food.

Worth the trip from Los Cabos

We had a wonderful lunch during a daytrip from Los Cabos. The pizzas, pastas, and seafood were all excellent, and the indoor and outoor dining spaces were perfect. It really is a destination restaurant in the region, and Todos Santos is worth checking out anyway - you'll want to linger.

Generous lobster ravioli

We were directed here by the concierge at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. It's a bit of a drive, 45 minutes or so, but worth every mile. The scenery is lovely, route is almost entirely seaside and the road is very good. Everything we had was delicious, particularly the lobster ravioli. In the US, most restaurants will deliver 3-4 raviolis and consider it a serving. At Cafe Santa Fe, the plate was mounded with tender pockets stuffed with lobster, the sauce a delicious blend of cream and bits of lobster. This is definitely an entree to split. We also sampled the pasta bolognese which is as good or better than any we've had in Italian restaurants anywhere. The courtyard is well-shaded and hence much cooler than one would expect. The dining room larger than we expected but very nicely, and simply done.
