Mexican families and tourists in the know come here for specialties like lamb birría, which are readied in full view in the vibrantly colored hacienda-style kitchen. The restaurant is on a plaza in one of Guadalajara's oldest neighborhoods, the Nine Corners, so-called for its intersecting streets.

Off the beaten path. In an old part of Guadalajara away from downtown. The food is better than good. Even better since you're away from the crowds.RATING: 4.2

Estuve de paso en gdl, y me dijeron que en esa birrieria esta muy sabrosa la comida y fui a ver si es cierto y la verdad es que si, muy rico y el trato excelente!RATING: 5.0
