Fodor's Review:
You can smell, hear, and see the ocean from the simply furnished, blue-and-white guest rooms at this hotel; it's right on the eastern malecón (boardwalk). Since it's tucked away at the southern end of the town square, there isn't much to distract you from the ocean -- except at Carnival, when the music can get loud. The freshwater pool and courtyard -- filled with plants, birds, and benches -- overlook the ocean, too.

Great location and ocean views

Stayed 2 years ago. Nice property and very well cared for. Beds are exceptionally firm. Ocean is right outside your window. Need to close the shutters or you'll get salt spray on everything! Great pool and lovely views. Good location in a quiet area (although the town square next door can probably get noisy during festivals). Seems to attract lots of repeat guests. Would recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive stay in a secure location.RATING: 3.6
