$$$-$$$$, Zona Hotelera
Fodor's Review:
Amidst the towering resorts with sleek, modern interiors that line the Zona Hotelera, the Avalon Baccara stands out for its small size and rustic Mexican design. Converted from a house into a hotel, this wine-colored property has 27 unique units that mainly attract couples. Although all different sizes, the rooms generally follow the overall rustic theme of the hotel, which means that most are decorated with carved wooden furniture, bright colors, and tile accents. The suites have balconies with Jacuzzis, as well as living rooms, dining areas and kitchens. Some even have wood floors, which are pretty, but creaky.
