Fodor's Review:
More upscale than its Royal Solaris sister property in Cancún, this resort is also somewhat more focused on adults. For example, there is a relaxation section outside with a small pool and massage area that is off-limits to children. This is actually the quietest spot outdoors, as activities are constantly going on at the main pool. With its spacious lobby, wrought-iron chandeliers, and dramatic outdoor terrace, the GR Solaris is fancier than its sister hotel. However, its rooms look somewhat plain in comparison to many of the revamped resorts that line Boulevard Kukulcán.
