$$$$, Zona Hotelera
Fodor's Review:
Standard room is a dirty word at this resort, where even the most basic accommodation is a spacious junior suite that includes a sofa bed, sitting area, flat-screen TV, and balcony. Due to the high capacity of this 474-suite hotel, things may get a bit crowded at the check-in line or at the pools, but if you're lucky, you may be able to grab one of the beds found in the lobby and outdoor areas. Mayan-inspired artwork is found throughout the lobby and other public spaces, whereas the suites are decorated in a Mexican-colonial style that features ornate, gold-tone accents. Guests are allowed access to the resort's sister property in Playa del Carmen, Gran Porto Real.
