It can be difficult to get reservations at this romantic hideaway tucked away on the eastern coast -- you must book online, and it's often booked up months in advance -- but most agree it's worth the wait. All rooms here have funky, unique designs, fantastic sea views, and are equipped with king-size beds, hammocks, conch-head showers, ceiling fans, and refrigerators. A restaurant and a small pool are on-site. It's a bit of a hike to downtown but the hotel can arrange for a taxi or a golf-cart rental for you. This hotel gets lots of wind!

Staying at this bed and breakfast made you really feel like you were in Mexico. The attention to detail and the superb service is what makes this bed and breakfast so great! The owners are wonderful and very attentive. Playa Norte is only a short taxi or golf cart ride away! If you want to getaway from it all, this is the place!RATING: 5.0
