Fodor's Review:
Tranquil, and quietly elegant without being pretentious, this hotel is a true sanctuary. Each guest room in the main building has a thatched palapa roof, Mexican folk art, a large bathroom, an eating area, and a spacious balcony or patio facing the ocean. The beach here is private, with its own bar serving snacks and drinks. Across the street are eight more spacious rooms surrounding a pool, a garden, and a meditation room where yoga classes are held.

Our room was huge and minimalist. Lots of marble, updated bathroom. 2 balconies with great chairs. Would not recommend poolside rooms as you have to cross the street to get to the beach which is fantastic. If you care about room details, you may be disappointed. The curtains were a little shabby. No cushions for the chairs. The couch cushions smelled musty. The bed/bedding wasn't super comfortable, etc. The staff and food were great though.RATING: 3.4
