$-$$, El Centro
Fodor's Review:
This charming, traditional-looking residence has been converted into a European-style guesthouse. The entrance leads off a busy street into a central patio, landscaped with trees, flowers, and a lovely tile fountain; inside, there's a comfy sitting area where Continental breakfast is served. Upstairs, many of the large, airy rooms have Mexican rustic furniture and Talavera ceramics. Smoking and food are not allowed in the rooms, but are permitted in the outdoor patio areas. There's a large, grassy park located just a block from the hotel.
