The upper floors of this veritable skyscraper in a city of low-lying buildings give you commanding vistas of the surrounding mountains -- day views are the best, since San José doesn't glitter quite like New York at night. The good restaurant and casino are also on the top floor, making full use of their vantage points. Inside, however, you could just as well be in Ohio, as the interior decoration betrays no local influence. The high-ceiling lobby is modern and airy, with lots of shiny marble, and the place has all the facilities a business traveler's heart could desire.
