The perfect beach bar, Las Brisas is a shack with a view, and what a view: the entire sweep of Playa Potrero. The kitchen serves up good Mexican-inspired food and seafood. The fish tacos are outstanding -- breaded strips of fish smothered in lettuce, tomato, and refried beans and encased in both a crisp taco and a soft tortilla shell. Monday night is reggae night and Wednesday has karaoke, when the joint really jumps. The place is decorated with old surfboards, rusty U.S. license plates, and wall murals.

great place to relax and have an imperal

this is one of my favorite places in costa rica i make it a point to visit bar las brisas each time i am in costa rica no matter where i am staying. i love the chicken wings, imperal beer and just the relax atmosphere. i have traveled the last 10 years to costa rica and look forward to my visit at las brisas.
