Fodor's Review:
Named after a Tibetan Buddhist saint who gained enlightenment in just one lifetime, Milarepa is a perfect place for peaceful renewal, whether romantic or spiritual. The four bamboo bungalows are spaced apart to ensure privacy and are furnished in ascetic but exquisite taste, with carved Indonesian wooden beds draped with mosquito netting, and bamboo armoires. Bathrooms are open to the sky, with alcoves for Buddhist deities. Each bungalow has a veranda looking out onto the carefully raked white beach, shaded by a grove of palms. Beachfront bungalows cost a bit more than those with ocean views set farther back. A large pool lies next to Soma, the hotel's restaurant.
