¢-$$, Latin American, Belize City
Fodor's Review:
With a central location in the Commercial Center, just south of Swing Bridge, Big Daddy's is a popular lunch spot for downtown workers. The large portions served cafeteria-style come cheap, and the clean, sunny surroundings including gleaming wood ceiling, ceiling fans, and views of Haulover Creek out the big windows are extras that don't cost a thing. Come for breakfast and get a plate of fry jacks -- fried bread, a bit like New Orleans beignets without the powered sugar -- eggs, and delicious Belizean bacon for around BZ$8.
