Gregarious British expat Peter Lawrence opened the island's only hostel-style accommodations in 2003. He's since added a sports bar, which has become a local expat hangout, and a bistro serving some of the best pizza in town. A single bed and shared bath in this white frame house go for as little as BZ$20 (plus tax), or you can get a double with private bath and air-conditioning for BZ$70 plus tax. Additional air-conditioned rooms are planned. Pros: Very good value, handy to the bar, the inimitable owner. Cons: Not on water, a bit of a hike to town, the inimitable owner.

I was very impressed with Pedro's Inn.
I stayed in one of the private "Deluxe Rooms". These rooms are clean, affordable and really quite comfortable. There was air conditioning, cable TV and a private bath. The option of a King sized bed or two singles was nice.
In addition to the rooms, the Staff was very helpful and alot of fun. Having the owner on site (Peter) is great, since he seems to know everyone on the island and gives great recommendations on where to go and what to do. He can even arrange for discounts on any of the multitide of trips, tours and diving options.
The bar is also alot of fun to be at, and the Pizza is great too - will definitely return to stay there, as I feel we got the most 'bang for the buck' value wise on the whole island.
