Get a bird's-eye view from one of two cabins built on posts under a tall guanacaste tree. The lodge also has four earthbound cabins. All lodgings are comfy, and very good values. You can canoe in the Mopan River, which surrounds the lodge on three sides. Parrot Nest is often booked solid. For BZ$2 a collectiva (collective taxi) takes you here from downtown San Ignacio, and a regular taxi will cost about BZ$16. Yes, you'll definitely see parrots here.
