Odessa

On the northern banks of the Black Sea, Odessa draws in the crowds with its gorgeous classical and Baroque architecture, excellent museums, and sun-drenched beaches. The city is also a bit of a pilgrimage spot for Alexander Pushkin fans; the famed poet spent time in exile here after being expelled from Russia in 1823.
